This isn't a must but would be convenient for mail syncing.
Would it be possible to add a MAPI email account?

Please clarify;
Do you mean MAPI? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAPI
or perhaps you mean IMAP? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Message_Access_ProtocolIf you mean MAPI, then I can agree this could be a feature that will be useful.
If you mean IMAP then this protocol will be implemented very soon, within the next update or two.I ask this due to the large number of people asking for IMAP.

Version 1.0.2016.88 has been released with a basic implementation of IMAP4. More features to come in future versions.
