Event Reminder Snooze Bug

I've set a reminder for an event that is scheduled almost 2 months from now, since this event is going to require some advance preparation.
When the reminder pops-up, I've tried several times now to snooze the reminder for 3 weeks, but it keeps popping back up after only 3 days (more or less).
Please advise.

When you snooze the reminder for 3 weeks, go into the Task and check the reminder date. Does it say 3 weeks from now or is it 3 days?

Thanks for your prompt feedback Chris.
I will have to wait until the reminder pops up again to check this.
In the meantime, when I checked the thought just now, the reminder is still set for 12 weeks, which is the time frame I originally set as the lead time for the initial pop-up reminder.
(FYI, the reminder has popped up quite a few times since, in my attempt to post-pone future pop-ups for 3 weeks.)
