Column Order in Task List is Not Stable

Reported by Metta Zetty | March 30th, 2018 @ 12:06 AM | in 2.0.1.3

By choice, I've reduced the number of columns in my task list to display only 9 variables. 3 of these are dates columns: tickler date, reminder date and due date.

However, the placement (display order/sequence) of these 3 date columns does not appear to be stable. The next effect of this is that every time I close and reopen the application, I have to reorder the last 4 columns in my task list: the 3 date columns and the task type column.

Is this something that can be fixed?

Hmm, that's a strange one, indeed. I'll get right on it.

    Status: Unable to reproduce

I've been trying, but I'm unable to replicate the problem. Please let me know the column names and the order you try to set but don't "stick".

Do other section's lists retain their column settings? eg: Contacts, Bookmarks, etc.

Thank you, Chris, for making the effort to reproduce.

Images of my preferred column order and the column sequence after restart are both attached.

As for Contacts and Bookmarks, I've not done much with either module (yet) since I've been focusing primarily on the task manager during my free trial. (Currently I have no bookmarks and only 2 contacts.) However, based on a quick review, the columns in both of these modules do appear to be stable.

Many thanks for the extra information. I'll see what I can do to fix this.
