I can recreate the import of a vCard. That item can be fixed.
I'm unable to recreate the New Event/Freezing problem - as yet.

I'm finding it difficult to recreate the issue.
Could you outline the exact steps you took so I may replicate them.

Just tried to add the event without linking in the calendar and that also caused the software to freeze.
