Linking contact to event causes freeze

Right click to link contact to new event causes doogiepim to freeze and can only be closed with task manager. Also when importing another contact vcard file it adds the last file information to the new imported contact and always inputs "LANGUAGE=en-us:" this in the last name field, this has happened from day 1. Virus scan shows no infections.

Just tried to add the event without linking in the calendar and that also caused the software to freeze.

I'm finding it difficult to recreate the issue.
Could you outline the exact steps you took so I may replicate them.- Chris

I can recreate the import of a vCard. That item can be fixed.
I'm unable to recreate the New Event/Freezing problem - as yet. -
