Please make a function enabling us to close and minimise popups

Currently, in doogiePIM, we have various notifications in the bottom right corner that there is no way, that I know of, to minimise or close. Those are mostly alright, because they normally hide relatively quickly. The one that really annoys me is the downloading mail popup, which, as far as I am aware, there is no simple way of hiding it. Furthermore, it displays over other windows, making other applications with buttons in that area impossible to use. This would be fine if you could move the dialogue, but at the moment, you can't move it nor minimise it.
Sorry for a slightly agitated message, but little things like this are what stop doogiePIM from going from good to great and then on to amazing.
Note, I have not included a screenshot, because it would include my private email address.

UPDATE: I know you can hide the progress popup in settings, but I would like to be able to occasionally check on download progress, where I can hide and show it to my heart's content

Email download progress, when hidden, is displayed in the various status bars on the bottom of section windows.
When Email has finished downloading, you typically get an alert message. This can be configured to always show or show only when there are messages.Play around with the settings in the Messages and Alert Message configurations.

Status: Added ability to be able to move the Email Progress window around with the mouse to not obscure other app windows - version 2.0.1.4
