Past Due Event Displaying on Home Page

Reported by Metta Zetty | March 18th, 2018 @ 10:30 AM | in 2.0.1.2

Just now discovered a past due event displaying on my Home Page even though I did NOT select the setting to display past due events:
-- Today is 3/18 and an event for 3/17 is displayed.

Please see attached screenshots.

Thanks you in advance for you help with this issue.

If you use the command "Refresh" does that remove the past events?
If so, then it could be the auto-refresh not working when going over midnight.

Sorry for not making this clear, Chris.

Refresh does NOT remove past events, and the 3/17 event is still displaying today, 3/19.

Thanks in advance for your help with this issue.

Just now installed the most recent update and, unfortunately, it looks like there are still a couple of bugs with flagged events on the Home Page:
    (1) Now the flagged events are listed in reverse chronological order, and (2) a past due event is still displayed.

    Screenshot is attached.

I've just realised what the problem is. face palms. If you look at the first screenshot, you'll see you are on the "Events" tab. However, you refer to the "Flagged items" tab on the other screenshots. These tabs are actually different result panels.

The parameters of the "Events" tab doesn't control the display listing of the "Flagged Events" panel. The only thing that controls that is the Flagmarker.

I have a suggestion that I add a "Include Past Events" checkbox on the "Flagged" Tab. This way you can have separate control of both outputs.

The sorting is a strange one as I didn't change that particular area, only the "Tasks" sorting. I shall get on this tomorrow morning and upload a beta-tester version 2.0.1.3b for you to try.

I think it would also be wise if I add an option to choose the direction of sort and the field to sort by for the "Flagged" display panel. Let me know if this would help. I'm at the end of my day now but I'll shall take it up on the morrow.

Sounds great, Chris -- and my sincere apologies for any confusion on this.

As a new user, I'm only now realizing the distinction between "flagged" and "regular" events. ;-)

Any additional tweaking you can do on the "flagged" events display will be appreciated.

Thank you again for your conscientious attention to all these details! :-)

Definitely! Sort direction control + field to sort by would be GREAT in the "Flagged" display panel. Thanks so much for anticipating the benefits of these additional enhancements. :-)

Status: v3.0.0.0beta: New features to control creation of Home Panels are implemented. The "Customise Home Page" dialog has changed completely to make it user-friendly with further flexibility. All suggestions taken into account.
