Error exporting calendar events as a .csv file

I have encountered an error when trying to export data from DoogiePIM. I am using version 2.1.1.8.
File >> Import or Export Data (selected)
Export data out of database (selected)
Export Calendar Events to file (selected) >> Next
All Events (selected), File Format CSV (selected)
Here I am forced to browse in order to save the file. It does not default to the last saved directory or the directory that the database is stored in. This is not an error, so much as being annoying.
Start (selected)
It tells me that it has successfully written the file. The error is that the file that is written is an ICS file with the ICS extension. I checked by looking at the resulting file with Notepad++. The result also occurs if I export the events by resource (default resource in my case).
Part of the reason may be because the events have long comments with multiple lines. I don't know how that might affect the export function/programming.

Status: Confirmed. Fixed in v 2.1.1.9
Many thanks for reporting this. The fix has been scheduled for the next update.
It appears the format selection isn't being honoured by the exporter. -
