Chinese compatibility

#53

Hello support!

I am trying out your doogie PIM software, and as almost all my work involves Chinese text, I need the function to search in Chinese text. However, I cannot get this to work in doogie!

Is there a way to search in Chinese text in doogie?

Many thanks for your attention to this.

BR

As I don't speak Chinese you will have to give me some characters and sample text in order to test it properly.

If you could send me a docx/rtf file with several search phrases typical of what would be searched for and a docx/rtf file of complete Chinese text. Something like "Moby Dick" or other long text will be fine.

Thank you for bringing your observation to my attention and thank you for your time effort in doing this.

    Hi Chris,

Much appreciate your very quick response to my query.

I’ve attached the following documents fot your reference:

    1. moby_dick_chinese.docx
    2. Search_chinese_phrases (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 characters length)

I hope you can find a solution as I love the comprehensive functions your software offers.
